What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a low-impact paddle sport (like a mini, slower tennis) that is easy to learn and fun to play.
New to Pickleball?
New to pickleball? No sweat. We'll have on-site instructors to teach us all the rules.
How do Teams Work?
Each team will have two players. You can sign up your team at once, or if you are signing up solo, we will pair you up with another player for the tourney.
Can I Watch or Sponsor?
Yes, indeed! Guest (aka fan) tickets are available. We also have some fun sponsorship opportunities.

Player Tickets: $50 per person and includes transport, instructions, court time for players, T-shirts for all attendees, food & bev, and of course... the fun!

How do teams work?

What if I want to come, but not play?
All great tournaments need fans! Fan Tickets are available, and will have access to the tournament facility and all the fun amenities on-site.
How long is the tournament?
We'll leave Long Beach Convention Center at 12pm, Instructions will start at 12:30pm, and the tournament will run from 1:00-3:00pm. The number of matches will depend on total signups.
How much does it cost?
Tickets to the event are $50 per person to play and $30 for Fan Ticket.
Can my company sponsor?
We <3 sponsors! Even if your company can't make it to the event, you can be there in spirit with a sponsorship package. Our team partners with sponsors to find creative, fun, memorable ways to showcase your brand at the event. Reach out in the sponsorship area above.
I'm not attending IANA EXPO, can I still go to the Pickleball Slam?
The more, the merrier! We'd love to have you join the event.
How do I get to the event?
When you sign up for your tickets, you will have the option to select whether you'd like a seat on the Pickle Shuttle. We will have a shuttle bus running from Long Beach Convention Center to the Arena (15-25 min ride). Once you sign up, we'll be sending more event info to your email as well.
What about gear?
Paddles will be provided on-site, however you are allowed to BYOP if you'd like
T-shirts will be provided for all attendees as well
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and athletic-ish shoes (dress as if you were going to be doing jumping jacks or taking a brisk walk).
Is there a prize for winners?
Yes! The winning team wins custom paddles and a Champions gift basket (option to take with you or we will ship for you).
Does this event help charity?
Proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to The Blended Pledge to provide travel grants for emerging and diverse speakers to attend and speak at conferences.
We will also have raffle tickets and gear for sale on-site where all profits go to The Blended Pledge.
